Sara Aguila, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Relationship Officer of Transcom Solutions, boasts over 22 years of expertise in the workers' compensation industry, with extensive experience in transportation and translation services, surveillance, and Medicare set-asides.
With a robust background in sales and operations, Sara exemplifies a rare blend of passion for people and proficiency in processes, both essential for delivering outstanding results. She continually explores innovative avenues to foster genuine client partnerships and forward-thinking tactics to propel strategic company growth. Ignited by her unwavering dedication to transportation and translation, in 2009, Sara co-founded Transcom Solutions with the fundamental belief that customer service should be the highest priority – a core value that distinguishes the company still today. Leveraging Sara’s established networks, Transcom Solutions has evolved into a thriving nationwide enterprise offering transportation and concierge services through a vast network of credentialed providers and translation services in over 200 languages.


Wendy Lanphere, CRM, SCLA - Vice President
CCMSI (Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc.)

Ms. Lanphere is a widely respected subject matter expert with over thirty years of industry experience. Based in the Nashville office of Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. (CCMSI), she collaborates with clients to deliver impactful solutions that drive results. Her expertise spans process enhancement, technology integration, and seamless new program implementation, all aimed at optimizing claims management. With a keen eye for strategy and a strong focus on customer service, Ms. Lanphere excels in developing custom program strategies through thoughtful analysis and budgeting, ensuring clients achieve operational efficiency and enhanced outcomes across their claim’s programs.
Starting as an account representative with The Hartford in 1991, she transitioned to catastrophic specialist and senior claims administrator at Texas Mutual Insurance Company for five years. Throughout the next twenty years at Specialty Risk Services (SRS), Ms. Lanphere grew into key leadership roles, including field operations assistant director, claim service manager, field operations automation consultant, and director of account management. In these positions, she was instrumental in integrating clients’ risk management philosophies into SRS programs, identifying trends, and offering consultative support to enhance outcomes across workers’ compensation, general liability, and auto claims. Ms. Lanphere’s strategic approach and dedication to client success contributed to an impressive track record of high client retention and consistent improvements in claims management.
She broadened her experience, serving as the vice president, national markets for 3iCorp.com and the director of client services for Adelson, Testan, Brundo, Novell & Jimenez. In 2014, Ms. Lanphere transitioned to national account executive with Review Med, a managed care firm specializing in records and bill review, medical/vocational case management, return-to-work programs, early intervention services, and preauthorization/precertification. Fusing her extensive experience and diverse knowledge, she joined CCMSI in 2014, quickly becoming an invaluable asset and integral team member.
Ms. Lanphere holds Certified Risk Manager (CRM) and Senior Claim Law Associate (SCLA) designations from the National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research. She is active in several Risk & Insurance Management Society (RIMS) chapters throughout the country and has served as an Alliance of Women in Workers’ Compensation ambassador.


Christine Jermin - Vice President
Brown & Brown

With 18 years of experience, Christine serves as a Vice President in the Casualty Claims Practice. She has a focused approach as a client advocate to identify and develop effective solutions to maximize cost containment and manage the Casualty related programs of her clients.  Prior to joining Brown & Brown, Christine worked for Sedgwick as a Director of Client Services and CCMSI in various claims roles including Sr. Claim Manager with oversight of Southeast operations. During her career, Christine was responsible for a wide range of claims including workers compensation, auto liability and general liability. She has experience managing claims in a variety of industries including hospitality, retail, restaurant, waste management, warehouse, transportation, healthcare and PEO.  Christine has presented as a speaker and moderator at the WCI Conference for the past 9 years and is part of the educational planning committee. Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice with a certification in Criminal Profiling from the University of Central Florida.
